Welcome to The Flame. We are a Jewish organization dedicated to the education and exploration of Judaism. The Flame offers a unique opportunity for families and singles to discover Judaism though our dynamic lectures, stimulating classes, religious services and Shabbatonim with other participants in your area. And you don’t even have to know Hebrew. No matter where in the world you live you can participate in a Flame class by joining us on-line. We currently hold services in a myriad of locations in Manhattan, Westchester, Queens and Brooklyn. We’ll even study with you over the phone if that is more convenient for you.
We Have A Lot To Offer You
Browse our web site to learn more about The Flame, our instructors, classes and religious services. Interesting classes and service are added all the time so be sure to sign up for our e-mail updates and “Friend” us on Facebook. We promise your name and e-mail address will not be given to anyone. You can also find some very interesting Torah commentary by Rabbi Mat Hoffman along with articles and sermons by Flame members and other distinguished members of the Jewish community.
Help If You Can
For over 25 years, The Flame has been providing you and many of your friends with free classes, summer programs, prayer services, Shabbatonim, counseling and many other services. The Flame’s staff is composed of volunteers, who dedicate many hours every month to help make Flame programs a success. Nevertheless, we still generate significant advertising, classroom rent, postage and supply expenses. We depend completely on your voluntary contributions to keep us going. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Contributions of any amount, even one dollar, would be greatly appreciated. Of course your contributions are tax deductible. Please send your contributions to: The Jewish Flame, 147-37 70th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11367. We now accept donations through Google. You will be brought to their website to complete your transaction and then you can come back to our website.
